Dear God,
I confess that sometimes it’s difficult for me to show mercy to others. I can be quick to judge, and slow to forgive. But I know that you have shown me great mercy and grace, and that I am called to do the same for others. So today, I pray that you would soften my heart and help me to be more compassionate and understanding towards those around me. Give me the courage to extend forgiveness and grace, even when it’s difficult. And may my actions be a reflection of your love and mercy to those I encounter each day.
I ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
